Virgin TV adds new Asian channel and upgrades four others to HD

Virgin TV has bolstered its Asian TV offering by adding a new channel, and upgrading four others to HD, as well as giving customers the opportunity to add the service for half price for 12 months. 

The Asian Mela TV package is home to 11 brilliant channels of family friendly Asian shows, gripping drama, movies, comedy, reality TV and much more. It has now got even better with the addition of Living Foodz with Zee Cinema, Zee TV, SONY TV and SONY MAX all now available in high-definition.

Living Foodz HD (channel 812) – exclusive to Virgin TV – comes courtesy of ZEE Entertainment Enterprise Limited and is the UK’s first Indian food channel focusing on food entertainment and presents daily recipes, food shows and kitchen hacks.

Zee TV (channel 809) is home to popular shows like Kaleerein, Kumkum Bhagya, Yeh Teri Galiyan and Sa Re Ga Ma Pa; SONY TV (channel 805) gives viewers Indian Idol, Mere Sai and Kaun Banega Crorepati plus more and Zee Cinema (channel 810) and Sony Max (channel 806) is the place to be for fans of brilliant movies and Bollywood blockbusters.
