Thames Valley Police is appealing for the public’s help to trace two boys who are missing from Reading.

Brothers Hamza and Zain Mohamad, aged 16 and 14, were last seen in Liverpool Road, Reading on Tuesday evening.

It is believed that they may have headed to London Paddington from Reading railway station later that night.

Hamza is about 5ft 9ins tall with a slim build, short black hair, brown eyes and is clean shaven.

When he was last seen, he was wearing light green tracksuit bottoms, a white t-shirt, a camouflaged baseball cap and Nike trainers.

Zain is 5ft 8ins tall with black hair and is clean shaven.

When he was last seen he was wearing grey tracksuit bottoms with a blue pattern down the legs and a white t-shirt with navy sleeves.

Zain and Hamza are known to frequent the Reading area, as well as possibly Ealing and Wembley in London.

Investigating officer Inspector Richard Jarvis, based at Reading police station, said: “I would like to speak to anyone who has seen Hamza or Zain, or has any information as to their whereabouts.

“Boys, if you see this appeal, please get in touch. You are not in trouble, but we need to know that you are safe and well.”
